Mike’s legislative priorities focus on strengthening North Central Washington through practical, forward-thinking policies that support families, workers, students, and small businesses.
His work in Olympia centers on improving education and workforce development, supporting responsible budgeting, reducing unnecessary regulatory burdens on employers, expanding economic opportunity, and investing in transportation infrastructure critical to the long-term success of communities throughout the 12th District.
Mike has spent his career advocating for small businesses and understands firsthand the important role they play in creating jobs, supporting local families, and strengthening communities. He believes state government should be a partner in economic success, not a barrier to it. That means creating a regulatory and tax environment that allows businesses to grow, hire employees, and remain competitive in Washington State.
Mike is also committed to improving access to affordable healthcare while protecting choice and working toward long-term cost containment for both employers and consumers.
As a lifelong resident of the district, Mike is proud to represent the communities that shaped him. He remains committed to listening, collaborating, and delivering meaningful results for the people of the 12th Legislative District.
